California Direct Selling Coalition Launches to Champion Direct Selling in the Golden State
Hollywood, CA – The California Direct Selling Coalition Corp (CDSCC) has officially launched, joining the ranks of state-based advocacy organizations in Utah, Texas, and Florida that are dedicated to protecting and promoting the direct selling industry at the local level.
Based in Hollywood, California, the CDSCC is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade association formed to educate policymakers, advocate for fair legislation, and empower the hundreds of thousands of Californians who earn income through direct selling opportunities.
Richard Bliss Brooke, respected industry leader, best-selling author, and lifelong advocate for entrepreneurial freedom, will serve as the Coalition’s inaugural Chairman.
“Direct sellers are the heart of grassroots entrepreneurship,” said Brooke. “The California Direct Selling Coalition exists to ensure that their voices are heard and their freedom to build ethical, relationship-driven businesses is protected.”
The CDSC will immediately begin outreach to all direct selling companies with a presence in California, inviting them to engage in the Coalition’s mission. This includes requests for financial contributions and boots-on-the-ground support to power lobbying, education, and community-building efforts across the state.
The Coalition aims to become a powerful, unified voice in California’s policy landscape – educating lawmakers, protecting seller rights, and promoting the values of transparency, integrity, and opportunity that define the direct selling channel.
